EMSIV project aims at put in force concrete actions identified by the beneficiaries in order to overcome these barriers. Among the main ones: to empower students belonging to ethnic minorities, to provide a picture of their perception of discrimination and of the view the labour market has on these groups, to provide university staff and students with EU best practices for enhancing employability, as well as with recommendations for their transferability to the local contexts, to promote the commitment of employers, policy makers and training institutions in providing decent work opportunities to ethnic minority youth.
EMSIV project foresees the following specific objectives:
- -Labour market dynamics for ethnic minority students appraised;
- -Ethnic minority graduates’ employment situation appraised;
- -Beneficiary universities knowledge on EU best practices on ethnic minority protection, empowerment
- and inclusion, as well as students’ employability tools enriched;
- -Ethnic minority students’ knowledge on employability tools strengthened;
- -Awareness of Vietnamese policy makers and firms on ethnic minority students’ needs raised;
- -Networking for a permanent dialogue among all interested Vietnamese stakeholders on ethnic minority
- students’ employability promoted.
