EMSIV Project visited the Đắk Lắk Province ethnic minorities areas

Many of Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups have rich, unique traditions, languages, art forms, and customs that differ significantly from the dominant Kinh culture. Visiting these areas allows Europeans to experience and appreciate the diversity of human cultures and gain a deeper understanding of Vietnam’s historical and social fabric. In the framework of EMSIV Project funded by the European Commission by Erasmus+ Programme, the European delegation, once ended the meeting planned at Tay Nguyen University in Buôn Ma Thuột City in January 2025, together with the staff members of the hosting University visited the area of Ê-đê ethnic minority population. IThe visit and the interaction with the local population, allowed the EUuropean project partners to increase their understanding of issues, and how different decisions affect their lives and neighborhoods. Visiting ethnic minority areas in Vietnam is not just about travel, it is about cultural exchange, supporting marginalized communities, and contributing to the preservation of global diversity, offering a chance to see a side of the country that is often less visible in the media.
