AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium was invited to attend the European Higher Education week in Viet Nam to share its experience of international cooperation with Vietnam, in the framework of Erasmus+ programme, especially regarding the KA2 Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education. The European Higher Education Week (EHEW) organised by the EU Delegation to Viet Nam (EUD) and EU Member States (MSs) in #TeamEurope approach aims to enable Vietnamese students, higher education institutions (HEIs), and other audiences to find out about higher education opportunities and partnership potentials in Europe. The event aims to promote collaboration between the EU and Viet Nam in Education and Research, especially to enhance Viet Nam’s participation in Erasmus+, the EU’s flagship programme in education, training, youth and sport. Therefore, the objectives of EHEW include: to contribute to the promotion of EU – Viet Nam cooperation in higher education; to promote European opportunities for students and HEIs in Vietnam, including the Erasmus+ programme from the EU and study programmes with scholarships from MSs.; To encourage new proposals for the Erasmus+ programme (2021-2027); to create a network platform for both Vietnamese and European HEIs to connect and establish new partnerships. In that specific context, AlmaLaurea, also shared with the audience information regarding the projects implemented in Vietnam, in which has been playing the role of coordinator since 2015.
